Elly-T by EllyRobotics
Elly-T

The floor, tidied for you.

A friendly home robot shaped like an elephant. Its trunk picks up what is left on the floor and puts it where it belongs.

Prototype in development
Elly-T: a light-grey elephant-shaped robot with pink ears and cheeks, picking up a sock with its trunk

Robot vacuums need a clear floor. Someone still has to tidy it first.

Socks, toys and loose paper stop a robot vacuum or get swallowed by it. So every day, someone bends down and picks it all up. Elly-T does that part.

What it does

Find. Pick. Sort. Drop.

Step 01

Find

It explores the room and spots the items left on the floor.

Step 02

Pick

Its trunk gently picks up soft and flat things, the hard cases for a robot.

Step 03

Sort

It decides what to keep and what to throw away. When unsure, it keeps it.

Step 04

Drop

Each item goes into the right bin, and the floor is ready.

  1. Elly-T picks up a sock from the floor with its trunk

    01Picks up a sock

  2. Elly-T carries the sock over its head

    02Carries it over its head

  3. Elly-T drops the sock into a round bin

    03Drops it in the bin

Floor clear? Elly-T can start the home's robot vacuum.

Why Elly-T

Made to live with a family.

Friendly by design

A cute elephant people welcome at home, not a machine they put up with.

AI that learns

It learns to handle real household items from human demonstrations, and keeps improving.

Safe around people

Soft bumpers, an emergency stop and stair detection, built in from the first prototype.

Roadmap

From design to homes.

  1. Nov 2026Design completeThe full robot is designed.
  2. Dec 2026Build beginsThe first parts of Elly-T are made.
  3. Q1 2027Picking provenElly-T learns to pick up real household items.
  4. Q2 2027Complete robotThe full tidying cycle, end to end.
  5. Mid 2027Home trialsPilot homes in Morocco and the UAE.

Dates are targets.
